important things you should be doing

  • Eat breakfast and bring snacks with you when you leave the house.
  • Stretch…roll around on your bed, follow a stretching video on YouTube, swing your arms around, throw on some music and dance.
  • Drink water, just good plain water. Start carrying a reusable water bottle with you.
  • Eat when you’re hungry, not when you’re bored. If you aren’t hungry enough to eat an apple, you’re just eating out of boredom.
  • Make a list, whether it be on your phone, in a notebook, in a planner, or on the wall, write out the things that need to get done so you don’t forget.
  • Just take a second. Find a moment throughout your day, take a moment to breathe and be alone.
  • Get some goals in mind so you can look towards the future.
  • Work on a positive project or habit every day.
  • Get outside. Even if it is raining, just try to get some fresh air.
  • Be happy.
  • Remind yourself that you matter, that you are important, and that you don’t have to impress anyone but yourself. You deserve all of the good in the world.

  1. I agree… I also jump on my bed… self affirmations does not work for me…hate apples… guilty, I eat when I’m bored…*facepalm* I jazz up my water with lemon and sometimes Vodka…I write lists that I don’t follow all the time… hmph… lol… great list…!
