What happens when you say “no”?

The word can be taken in a good way or in a bad way, just depending on personal opinion, the situation, and of course, what punctuation you use.

You can say “no” and someone might cry in tears of joy or tears of sadness. You can say “no” and feel very dejected or incredibly empowered. You can say “no” and be terrified or overjoyed.

When is the right time to say “no”? When is it okay to say you’ve had enough, or you do not want to? How do you overcome the fear of saying a one syllable, two letter word?

You can say “no” all the time, each and everyday. You can say “no” to yourself, to other people, and to things. You can do it.

Saying “no” isn’t always bad, and it is not something to be afraid of. Saying “no” can be just as positive as saying “yes”.

Use words to empower your actions, rather then letting words dictate your actions.
